The Medical Clinical Officers Professionals-Uganda in Partnership with World Education Continuing Alliance are operating CPD platform

The Platform enables one to;-

• Study online and offline
• Earn CPD Points with access to free medical courses
• Attend Webinars
• Access African-based research articles
• Access to an African healthcare community

The specific objectives of the training are to:

• Improve and update health care providers’ capacity to practice in accord to current advancements and technology.
• Increase disease awareness; promote early screening, diagnosis and treatment.
• Enhance skills in relation to timely initiation and intensification of Patient management.
• Improve early identification and management in various areas of of interest and curb complications.
• To further enhance quality in extension and fulfillment of universal health care.

The WCEA provides platform for training and it is modular e-learning for Medical clinical officers among other Professions. It comprises of Short Courses. The modules and short courses are in English versions.

The short courses are for the allied healthcare professionals – Medical clinical officers. There are various short courses. To complete each Short Course, the learner must complete the self-paced e-learning module.

Knowledge is assessed with a post-test or for each Short Course.

To receive the certificate of completion, the learner will have to complete the short course module(s) provided in teach course and scores at least 80%. Where necessary, RoundTable sessions (webinar) programs/courses shall be provided.

The deadline for the completion of the preferred module shall be detailed on introduction to each module, if necessary. After such a date, learners will no longer have access to the modules.

MCOPU in collaboration with Allied health Professionals Council, World AMTC Network and University of Utah bring you a FREE online-based Dermatology Learning Program.

The objective of this, is to train and empower healthcare professionals to deliver optimal dermatology care in Uganda and sub – Saharan Africa at large.
